Mariana Vieira

The composer Mariana Vieira is only 20 years old and comes from Lisbon, where she studied saxophone, piano and composition at the Music School Nossa Senhora do Cabo. She is currently a bachelor student of composition at the Lisbon Music Academy. In 2014 Mariana Vieira won the first prize at the composition competition “Nano Músicos Electroacústicos”. Her works have been performed at festivals such as “Monaco Electroacoustique” and “Encontros Nova Música – Vila do Conde”. She also organizes the festival DME (Days of Electroacoustic Music) in Seia, Portugal.
