Dear Friends of Young Euro Classic,
We are all currently facing a great challenge. Cultural institutions are finding creative solutions by making their offerings accessible via streaming. Musicians get together at a distance, on balconies, at open windows, trying to lift spirits, encourage, and show solidarity. All this shows the special meaning of music in times of crisis.
We are carefully observing the spread of the new coronavirus and the situation as it develops, and adjusting our preparations to these circumstances. There are still some months to go before the festival is supposed to start on July 24. We fervently hope that Young Euro Classic 2020 can take place this summer as planned.
In the hope that we can present a wonderful festival, we are continuing our preparations. But not without emphasizing that we are aware of our responsibility as a presenter, and that the health of the audience, the young artists and the staff of Young Euro Classic has top priority. That is why we are in close contact with the authorities, so that we can react adequately and appropriately to the continuously changing situation.
You can still purchase concert tickets for Young Euro Classic via our website and via www.ticketmaster.de. Due to the restrictions on public life, the ticket sales points at the Konzerthaus on Gendarmenmarkt, at Dussmann das KulturKaufhaus and at the KaDeWe have been closed until further notice. For now, concert tickets cannot be purchased there. If the festival cannot take place in the summer, of course we will refund the price of the tickets you have purchased.
