Around the concert
Here you will find useful information about attending a concert - whether you are coming to Young Euro Classic for the first time or have been attending the festival for years!
Is access to the concert hall barrier-free?
Accessibility on site
Visitors with walking difficulties can reach the cloakroom foyer via two lifts in the carriage passageway. A lift is also available at the stage entrance (Charlottenstraße).
Disabled toilets are located near the stage entrance and at the Café Konzerthaus.
Barrier-free access
Since the completion of the renovation of the Gendarmenmarkt in March 2025, the square has been completely barrier-free.
The nearest underground stations U Stadtmitte (lines U2, U6) and Unter den Linden (lines U5 and U6) have lifts.
Designated disabled parking spaces can be found in Charlottenstraße (near the stage entrance).

Are there any discounts?
No, there are no discounts for children, students or pensioners.
Wheelchair users and severely disabled people with a B permit pay the normal price and receive a companion ticket included. These tickets are only available via the ticket hotline and at the Interklassik theatre box office in the Hotel Meliá.
Can I pre-order drinks for the break?
Yes, if you wish, you can reserve a table on site at the bar or in advance online with the catering provider "Kultur Catering Berlin".
I have lost my cards! What can I do?
Tickets ordered online or by telephone can be printed out again using a lost ticket letter. The ticket hotline team will be happy to inform you about the procedure (Tel.: 030 - 8410 8909).
It is not possible to report the loss of tickets purchased at advance booking offices.
Are children allowed in the concert?
In general, of course. However, please note that Young Euro Classic concerts are usually full-length events. Children should therefore be old enough and not disturb the concert enjoyment of the other visitors.

The concert I want to attend is already sold out. Are there still tickets available at the box office?
Yes, tickets are usually available at the box office in the Konzerthaus. The box office usually opens one hour before the concert begins. We recommend that you arrive in good time.
Are there concert introductions?
There are no concert introductions on site, but you are well prepared for your concert visit with our festival podcast and our programme booklets to view digitally or print out yourself.
Is there a break?
There is usually a break during the concerts.
Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets can be purchased at all known advance booking offices.

Can I buy my tickets online?
Yes, tickets can be purchased online from our ticket provider Ticketmaster. You can access the ticket provider via the concerts on our website.
Can I buy my tickets by telephone?
Yes, tickets can be purchased by telephone via the ticket hotline (Tel.: 030 - 8410 8909).
Tickets will then be delivered within 2 - 4 working days.
Can I return my tickets?
No, cancellations and the return of tickets already purchased are unfortunately not possible for technical reasons.
Is food and drink available?
Drinks and snacks are available in the various foyers - depending on which hall the concert is taking place in. The catering is open for you on admission and during the concert breaks.
Payment is possible in cash or by card.
How much is the advance booking fee?
The advance booking fee is 10% per ticket at all known advance booking offices.
The advance booking fee for online purchases is also 10%.
