Outstanding musicians from Estonia, Georgia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan

As part of Courage in Concert, the Chamber Music Academy offers young musicians from Estonia, Georgia, Uzbekistan and Ukraine a space for dialogue and encounters. During joint rehearsals, 17 young talents develop a programme on the themes of freedom and perspective. Masterworks by national composers such as Arvo Pärt, Valentin Silvestrov, Sandro Nebieridze and Dmitry Yanov-Yanovsky will be flanked by “favourites” of all musicians from Franz Schubert’s famous Octet and Antonio Vivaldi’s Chamber Concerto in G-minor. An unusual flavour is added by including traditional instruments and vocals. The creative and diverse format requires exchange and open ears and hearts.
