Dovlet Anzarokov

Dovlet Anzarokov was born in the Southern Russian city of Maykop, the capital of the Northern Caucasian Republic of Adygea, in 1980, as the son of a well-known singer and composer. He completed his piano studies at the Maykop School of Arts and composition studies at the State Conservatory N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov in St. Petersburg, where Sergey Slonimsky was his teacher, with distinction. Anzarokov has composed numerous symphonic and chamber music works, including a Concertino for orchestra, a Guitar Concerto, Two Dances from Adygea for chamber ensemble as well as a string quartet, a cello sonata, a trio for flute, cello and piano, and a cycle of preludes for solo piano.
