Elevators
Visitors with reduced mobility who require a elevator can reach the pillar foyer via two lifts in the northside entrance. There is also a lift available at the stage entrance (Charlottenstraße), which takes you to your seats in the Konzerthaus. Please let us know so that your ticket can be held for you at this entrance.
Disabled toilets are located near the stage entrance and at the Café Konzerthaus.
Wheelchair and handicapped accessible seats within the ‘Großer Saal’
We have reserved wheelchair-accessible and disability-friendly seats in Großer Saal. In the “Parkett Links” section, accessible seats (next to companion seats) are available in row 21, seats 5 & 6 and seats 8 & 9 (price category 3). In the “Parkett Rechts” section, seats behind row 21, seats 6, 7, 8, and/or 9 are available for companions.
Wheelchair users can access the elevators via the stage entrance on Charlottenstraße.
Accessible toilets are located near the stage entrance and at the Café Konzerthaus.
Ticket information for visitors with disabilities
Wheelchair users and severely disabled persons with ID B pay the normal price and receive a companion ticket free of charge. These tickets are only available via the ticket hotline (+49 (0)30 8410 8909, daily: 10 am–6 pm) and at the Interklassik box office at Hotel Meliá.
Accessible route
Since the refurbishment of the Gendarmenmarkt has been completed in March 2025, the square is completely barrier-free.
The nearest underground stations U Stadtmitte (lines U2, U6) and Unter den Linden (lines U5 and U6) have lifts.
Designated disabled parking spaces can be found in Charlottenstraße (near the stage entrance).
